Installation and Maintenance Requirements

Installation requires a suitable adhesive tape or glue, which must be supplied separately. Position the six brackets on the panel corners, prepare the mounting surface according to the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions, and bond the brackets to the selected flat roof surface. The compatible roof materials are aluminum, wood, and GRP. The adhesive must provide the actual attachment between the brackets and mounting surface; the brackets do not include adhesive. Confirm that the panel frame and roof surface are clean and suitable for adhesive mounting before installation. Periodically inspect the brackets, bonded areas, and panel attachment for deterioration or loosening, particularly in outdoor, RV, marine, or off-grid service.
